Cumulus is an extremely easy-to-use and highly autonomous fixed wing drone built in first class materials for precision agricultural, mapping and surveying. The aircraft is made from the best carbon fiber and kevlar, which makes it one of the most robust UAVs on the market.

The Cumulus is a completely autonomous system. Once the mission planning is completed the aircraft is hand launched and will carry out the mission and return to base where it lands vertically (deep stall) with high precision.

The Cumulus has a large payload area, which can handle up to 500g payload. There are many possibilities for customization and future sensor upgrades.

The Sony RX-100 payload is one of the many mapping payloads that Cumulus can carry. En generates excellent georeferenced imagery for any surveying or mapping assignment and can be used by many different segments.

The Cumulus is the perfect aerial mapping UAV, with long endurance and easy launch capabilities. Sky-Watch recommends Agisoft Photoscan software to generate the proper map material when you have collected your imagery.

HEIDRUN V1 – UNIQUE DEEP-STALL LANDING

 

HIGH PERFORMANCE AIRCRAFT

Heidrun V1 is a portable, lightweight highly autonomous Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) designed for Defense and Law Enforcement. The drone is made of first class carbon fiber, which makes it one of the most robust UAV on the market.

Heidrun V1 is ultra mobile and can be rapidly deployed in the field to low-altitude reconnaissance, surveillance or target acquisition. It is operated by an easy-to-use touchscreen Navigator with a precise GPS, or by joystick and a separate operated 2-axis stabilized gimbal system.
The system can also conduct pre-programmed missions once mission planning is completed. The aircraft is hand launched and will then carry out the mission and return to base where it lands vertically (deep stall) with high precision.


 
With 1.7 kg (without payload) and 2 hours flight time reaching 25 km range while providing Thermal & EO live-video feed, it is a lightweight, high endurance and range aircraft.
Heidrun V1 has a modular payload area, which can handle up to 600 g payload. Possibilities for customization and future sensor upgrades.

The Huginn X1 is featured in the International Firefighting Magazine, March edition (Issue 45).

The MUNINN VX1 is a versatility and flexible platform, due to its combined VTOL and fixed-wing system. This enables deployment from smaller compounds and vessels situated in remote or complex environments, only limited by the users imagination. Of cause, the MUNINN VX1 integrates seamlessly with various battle management systems (BMS) and data distribution systems.

ARCTIC RESEARCH AND SURVEILLANCE

Maritime applications in the arctic region pushes the MUNINN VX1 platform to new levels. The VTOL capability facilitates that the MUNINN VX1 can be deployed on vessels, which until now have been excluded from carrying mid-range drones for intelligence, surveillance and recognizance operations. The MUNINN VX1 can be used for environmental monitoring due to its modular payload system.

 


 

The MUNINN VX1 is currently under development. Sky-Watch is working together with the Technical University of Denmark, the Danish National Advanced Technology Foundation, and Boeing on the MUNINN VX1 SMART UAV project, which will result in a completely new type of drone. Our efforts aim at developing a new generation of vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) UAVs that combines the advantages of existing rotorcraft UAVs with those of fixed-wing aircraft for longer range and endurance. It will be controlled with Sky-Watch’s intuitive Navigator and will have the same autonomous advantages as known from our Huginn X1.

Huginn X1D is a quadcopter system. The setup enables it to perform vertical take-off and landings without any launching or landing mechanisms. The intuitive and logical user interface facilitates personnel with little or no technical knowledge to operate the Huginn X1D following only a minimum of training. This chemical detection kit helps to spot what the eye cannot. Equipped with Morphix Technologies’ Chameleon sensors, the Huginn X1D makes hazard detection less dangerous. The intuitive Sky-Watch Navigator allows the operator to keep a safe distance from the accident scene.
