Terrain Awareness and Warning System

TAWS increases safety greatly during flight by giving timely warnings and alerts to avoid unintended collision with ground.

KEY FEATURE SET:

In-flight prediction of likely near future position intersects with ground.

Warning if collision prediction is within 40 seconds.

Alert if collision prediction is within 20 seconds.

General SDM improvements

Increased operational safety of UAV asset in GPS denied situations, and now you have an option for rugged hand controllers matching rough operational environment.

GPS denied navigation failsafe is now the default failsafe setting.

Enhanced protection so that user can’t download logs while UAV is in air.

Flight trail length setting is persisted across SDM restart.

Heidrun Mapping profile name renamed to Heidrun Mapping 433.

Default approach length set to 225m.

Max plan altitude is 3500m.

Ruggedized hand controllers for Pilot and EO/IR Operator

Auto-alignment of antenna trackers - in pre-flight check and during flight.
